Admissions Arrangements 2027/28 Consultation

In accordance with the School Admissions Code, Forward As One CE Multi Academy Trust is required to consult on proposed admission arrangements for its academies when changes are proposed, or at least once every seven years.

The below provides the statutory consultation information for all academies within the Trust undertaking consultation this year. The proposed arrangements relate to admissions for the September 2027 intake.

Purpose of the Consultation

The consultation gives stakeholders the opportunity to review and comment on proposed changes to admission criteria, Published Admission Numbers (PANs), over-subscription criteria, or other aspects of an academy’s admission arrangements. Following the consultation period all responses will be reviewed by the Board of Trustees before final arrangements are determined and published in line with statutory requirements.

We are consulting parents/carers of children aged 2–18, other persons in the relevant area who may have an interest in the arrangements, all other admission authorities within the relevant area, local authorities & adjoining local authorities where pupils attend from, the diocese for schools with a religious character, local community and early years providers.

Consultation Period

The Trust is running a single six-week consultation (17th December 2025 – 28th January 2026) covering proposed admission arrangements for all of its academies.

All responses will be considered before the Trust Board determines the arrangements in accordance with the School Admissions Code.

Accessibility and Alternative Formats

The full proposed admission arrangements for each school are available to view and download on the consultation webpage and on each academy’s admissions page.

If you require the consultation documents in an alternative format, or if you have any questions about the process, please contact us. Free paper copies can be collected from the office of any participating Trust school during normal opening hours, or you can request them by Email: Enquiries@fa1.uk or Phone: 07597 661533.
